The Laramie Project

I have never seen The Laramie Project. I wish that I had. Its one of those plays where I think that the impact and impression of the play would be huge in person and is somewhat muted on the page. I like the interspersed "monologuing" style. It keeps me invested in the characters and the story without breaking out of the intimacy that is found so clearly and vividly in monologues. I think too that interspersing the monologues leads to the capacity to have more action in a piece that is comprised totally of single peoples thoughts.
